Movie Specs: Moby Dick was made for the USA channel and shown on March 15-16, 1998. It was released on video in June. It is another remake of the classic Herman Melville book. Also somewhat ironically stars Star Trek: The Next Generation's Patrick Stewart. In the movie Star Trek: First Contact another character says to Captain Picard (Stewart) "Captain Ahab has to go hunt his whale.", referring to Picard's need to persue the Borg. I was very amused when I found out he was going to play Ahab. Henry's Role: Ishmael, or at least thats what he says to call him ;) Ishmael is a young man who is tired of being a teacher, and decides to become a whaler. But he picks the wrong boat. Links: |
